Heritage & Monument 3D Scanning Services

K K Geosystem provides document sites and objects for heritage records, visualisation and CGI/VFX workflows.

Our offices in Ahmedabad and Jamshedpur support on-site assignments across India. The proposal defines capture, processing and reporting responsibilities for your requirement.

When should you use this service?

We offer heritage laser scanning and visual capture, including Gaussian Splatting scenes. Capture and processing are selected around the intended deliverable: spatial documentation, a model or a visual scene.

  • Heritage-site laser scanning and registration
  • Photographic documentation within the agreed scope
  • Gaussian Splatting data capture and scene processing
  • Visual scene reference for CGI/VFX and walkthrough workflows

What will you receive?

  • Registered spatial data for heritage documentation
  • Processed Gaussian Splatting scenes where commissioned
  • Agreed model or visual outputs

Deliverables, formats and checks are agreed for each assignment.

What experience supports this service?

The portfolio includes monument, cave and palace documentation. A separate Ahmedabad statue-and-pedestal project delivered a processed Gaussian Splatting scene for a virtual walkthrough workflow.

What should you send for a quotation?

Share the subject, site access, intended use and required output. A visual scene and a dimensionally assessed engineering model have different requirements.

What inputs, work and outputs should be agreed?

Your inputs Our agreed work Delivery
Asset extent, permitted access and documentation purpose Agreed heritage geometry and photographic capture Spatial data and commissioned documentation

How is the assignment organised?

  1. Review: supply asset extent, permitted access and documentation purpose.
  2. Define: confirm agreed heritage geometry and photographic capture, reference data, access or file-transfer arrangements and the deadline.
  3. Execute and check: complete the commissioned work and review the agreed coverage and outputs.
  4. Deliver: provide spatial data and commissioned documentation with the agreed supporting information.

What should you know about the results?

Documentation scope depends on access and visible surfaces. Do not equate a digital record with a conservation assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Does heritage capture include photographs?

Photography can be part of the agreed scope. Clarify whether you need geometric records, visual documentation or both.

Can the work be completed without naming the site owner?

Public case studies can omit customer details. Any permissions for field access and publication should be agreed with the responsible party.

How can we share confidential project information?

Start with a non-sensitive summary of the requirement. Agree NDA conditions and a suitable transfer method before sharing restricted files. Public project descriptions do not need to identify the end-customer.
